Dead On

Privacy Policy

Effective 6 August 2026

Dead On collects no data. No account, no sign-up, no ads, no tracking, no analytics. The app does not connect to any server — there isn't one.

Data controller

Dead On is published by Sofiane MEBCHOUR (sofiane.mebchour@live.fr). Since no personal data is collected, there is in practice no processing to declare — this notice simply identifies who to contact.

What is stored on your phone

For the game to work, a few values are written to the app's local preferences:

These values never leave the device. They are not tied to any identifier, are never transmitted to anyone, and disappear entirely if you delete the app.

The daily challenge

The daily challenge is computed on your phone from the calendar date, not downloaded. That is why every player gets the same durations on the same day without anything being sent anywhere. The app works fully offline.

Sharing

When you tap Share, the app renders an image on your phone and hands it to the iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes. Dead On sends nothing on its own and has no knowledge of what you do with the image.

Once the image reaches another app — a messenger, a social network — it is governed by that app's privacy policy, not this one.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Since no data is collected, no children's data is collected either.

Your rights

The GDPR grants you rights of access, rectification and erasure over your personal data. Here there is nothing to exercise them against: no personal data is held. To erase everything the app has stored, delete it from your phone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Any change affecting your data would also be called out in the app's release notes.
